Mickleton

The most northerly village in Gloucestershire on the boundaries of Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

Mickleton is regarded as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’ lying within the flat countryside of the Vale of Evesham and the limestone escarpment of the Cotswolds. The village has a long history stretching back to before the time of the Doomsday Book. Meon Hill, with its Iron Age hill fort forms an impressive backdrop to a historic village with a mixture of architectural styles from Cotswold stone, old black and white timber and red brick buildings.

Mickleton is deemed to be a vibrant working village and was once a busy thriving vegetable growing area and is now the home of many generations of those market gardeners
