Victory Memorial Playing Fields Refresh

Mickleton Parish Council (MPC) is pleased to confirm that the painting of the swings and youth shelter at the Victory Memorial Playing Fields, also known as the Junior Playing Fields, off Back Lane, has been completed.

At its meeting at the end of October 2025 MPC agreed to have these items painted, and the funds were to be taken from the Community Infrastructure Levy fund (Cotswold District Council), as well as a kind donation of £1,000 from the Chipping Campden Community Trust.

Unfortunately, autumn/winter is not the best time to start these works, with continued rain in the spring, as well as it then being too hot to paint, but we hope that you will agree that it was worth the wait.

MPC thanks Greenfields for carrying out the works, which have given the equipment a lovely refresh and will help to protect the equipment too.
