With the pandemic the surgery was in need of extra refrigerated space to store the vaccines for the local community. The surgery approached the Trust who were pleased to be able to help.
Thanks to a very generous grant awarded by Chipping Campden Community Trust, the Surgery was recently able to buy two pharmacy fridges to increase our capacity and safety for storing vaccines.
Our two new clinical fridges are state of the art and much needed to store the flu, covid and other NHS vaccines. They both have built-in probes which monitor and stabilise fridge temperatures. They also trigger audible and visual alarms if the temperatures are too high, too low, and for power failures. These features, as recommended by MHRA, will avoid vaccine wastage.
Both fridges are well equipped to see the Surgery through the current and future NHS vaccination programmes.
Thank you very much CCCT for this wonderful support for the Surgery!
